Sometimes we have multiple clips that belong together. Like a title above a video, or an voiceover audio clip underneathe it or both.
It would be nice if we could group them so that no matter which editing mode we are in or which edit we are doing on one of the tracks, those clips will always be together holding the same relative position to each other.
I'm not sure I fully understand the problem you are experiencing - does grouping not do this already. I appreciate that you have to ungroup the clips to edit a single clip, but does this not leave the clips in their relative positions so that you can regroup them immediately after editing that clip?
