At present it appears that you have to use 3rd party software to create a line for animation in Pinnacle studio - see tutorial on drawing and animating a travel route. This might be reasonably ok with a route which is in one direction only, but becomes a more complex masking issue if the route winds back in a direction already travelled. It would offer far more flexibility and allow much faster creation of complex line animation if you could draw in Pinnacle and apply keyframes to the line. This would have far more uses than just routes on maps.
