I bought the version 26.2.0.298 yesterday (direct installed this version from pinnacle) and I have the same problem with MP4 files made by my Canon camera. I use a DELL Laptop with WIN 11. Just for testing I installed the same Pinnacle version on my "old" Dell Laptop under WIN 10 today . And surprise, no Problems with the same MP4 files. So it looks for my to a codec problem in connection with Win11.
I'm having this problem as well. It's not crashing, but it is showing as light distortion. Not every video, but nearly all of the recent GoPro footage I uploaded.
