Drinking the kool aid

Hello: Like most people who watch football you have probably seen the Dr. Pepper ad where the guys says he has fallen for the pre season hype. I fell also. All the ads for 26 claimed the program was more robust, errors had been fixed, etc. That was just pregame hype! After using the newly installed program for about 3 minutes it cratered doing a simple edit to a title. The only way to continue was to kill the program and restart. The Title module is probably the most unreliable piece of code ever encountered. It need to be thrown out and rebuilt from ground up and if you do then make it possible to default the font to something other than Times New Roman - such a boring font. For example, the blue frame around title text that controls the area for text does not work or if it does then it is so complicated that making it work requires a PhD. Additionally, why not get rid of the annoying info popups that cover the cursor when trying to position green dot key frame along the audio ducking line. What you people need are testers that are not developers. If you do things just perfectly as you would if a developer testing the code then agreed, it appears robust. But that is not life. Regular people do not do things perfect all the time. It should be robust enough to live through an occasional mistake and not fall on its butt.
